Terms of Service
1. Services.
A. Initial Diagnostic Process.
i. Each student will be given full-length practice test, either for SAT or ACT, and expert tutors will examine his or her results to determine best recommended course of action.
ii. Student will have two one-hour one-on-one sessions with tutors for English and Math, who will precisely determine student's current status with various concepts and skills needed for the exams.
iii. A final report will be provided to the parents and student outlining our reccomendations for further study.
(This process is included in price of standard/preliminary packages, and if purchased separately, its price will be automatically discounted from purchase price of either standard or preliminary package.)
B. Standard Package.
i. Each student will have access to at least three seminars a week, each taught by experts in each field presented on the exam, and each typically lasting 90-120 minutes, including at least one hour of lecture and Q&A afterwards. Topics will be iteratively chosen based on student's needs, progress, and tutor availability.
ii. Each student will be assigned an accountability coach. This coach will meet and get to know each individual upon beginning the program, and will ultimately be that student's primary point of contact with the tutors, as well as facilitator, homework parent (if needed), and general cheerleader. Assigned coach will touch base with student each week before the seminar to gain diagnostic status, collect questions, and communicate that student's needs for the seminar to the tutors. Coach will then follow up with student throughout the week via text and Facebook group to ensure all questions are answered and practice is completed.
iii. Each student will be given access to private Facebook group for each subject. This forum will provide additional support from other students, tutors, and accountability coaches to discuss confusion and ensure any remaining questions are answered.
iv. Tutors will be in constant contact with accountability coaches, as well as monitoring Facebook groups to ensure all questions are answered. They are also available for one-on-one diagnostic calls if needed.
C. Prerequisite Package.
If student has not yet mastered those subjects required for the Standard Package, (Algebra I, basic reading comprehension, basic grammar and writing skills through lower secondary), a highly-focused preliminary 12-week program is typically sufficient to catch the child up to speed on all subjects, both for better performance in school and so that the standard college entrance package would then be fully effective.
Services are similar to that offered in standard package; the only difference are the topics covered.

v. 40% discount on standard package is available for those who have already purchased preliminary package.
D. College Essays
Separate add-on package is available to help student craft essays for specific colleges, based on knowledge of desired school. We have or can find essay experience with all major colleges.
Note: We do NOT actually write essays for the student; we are not a "write-for-hire" service. We provide writing expertise and feedback, background information on culture and desired focus of the student's chosen school, and iteratively help the students organize their thoughts and communicate their best self.
E. One-On-One Tutoring
One-On-One Tutoring for individual prerequisites and other subjects not typically seen on standard entrance exams can be scheduled according to need. All classes and learning styles are available; emphasis is placed on student specifics.
Different rates are available according to number of hours needed per week. All tutoring packages include accountability coach and Facebook group for that subject.

2. Payment.
A. Initial Diagnostic Process
i. Initial Diagnostic Process is $500 and is typically completed within one week of purchase. No payment plan is available for this service.
Upon purchase of initial diagnostic process, price is automatically discounted from purchase price of standard or preliminary package.
B. Standard/Preliminary Packages.
i. Standard and preliminary packages for SAT/ACT mastery are both $25,000 for 12 weeks of instruction. A 3-month payment plan is available at $8,750/month, (including a 5% payment plan fee). 40% discount is offered on standard package for those who also purchase preliminary package. (3-month payment plan for standard package at 40% discount is available at $5,250/month).
Card will be run at time of purchase, and again on a recurring basis as specified in contract. Payment plans will be charged monthly on original day of purchase.
ii. Refunds are not provided for missed seminars or meetings for class students, although every effort will be made to accommodate students' needs, provided additional classes are available and sufficient notice is given. Additional help is also available via the accountability coaches and Facebook group.
iii. Initial Diagnostic Process includes specific improvement guarantee for any full packages recommended, based on student's current status and goals, and is 100% guaranteed, given full participation in program. All reasonable efforts will be made to accomodate student schedules when scheduling tutoring seminars/sessions, at least 3 make-up sessions will be offered at tutor discretion, accountability coaches will keep a close eye on student progress and suggest course-corrections to both parents and students as needed as early in the process as possible. If, for whatever reason, the student attends all classes and follows through with all assigned work, and still fails to reach his or her guaranteed goal, we will offer the class as many times as necessary until this goal has been reached. However, responsibility for success typically lies with the student.
Any continued failure on the part of the student to meet with coaches, complete assigned practice, attend assigned seminars, or otherwise participate in this program renders this guarantee null and void.
Initial Diagnostic Process is included in price of prelinary/standard package, and is discounted from standard package fee if previously purchased as stand-alone service.
C. College Essay Add-On Package
i. College Essay Package is currently included in standard package, for one-on-one coaching through successful completion of outstanding college essays. No payment plan is available for this service.
D. One-On-One Tutoring.
i. One-on-one tutoring students will be charged weekly, a priori.
Rates include accountability coach and Facebook group, and are dependant upon level and subject required. Discounts are available for multiple sessions per week.
ii. Refunds will be given upon request for individual tutoring sessions, provided refund is requested more than 24 hours in advance of scheduled session. Refund rate is based on full refund of that session according to tier.
iii. If additional hours are needed, every effort will be made to accommodate students' schedules, with any additional hours charged individually at tiered rates based on total hours charged (recurring and/or individually) for that week.
E. Payment Methods
Subscriptions are charged via Moonclerk through Stripe; individual payments are processed through Stripe.
We do not hold or maintain individual credit card information. All payment information is stored via Moonclerk and Stripe. If you have any issue or concern with payments for our services, please let us know and we will do our best to ensure it is corrected, subject to these policies.
